Sorter - Warehouse Operations

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Sorter to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will ensure proper stacking and organization of products, verify carton counts, and prepare pallets for shipment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone looking to grow within a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Position and stack cartons on pallets according to customer compliance requirements.
• Monitor the sort line to prevent backups and ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform carton counts to ensure pallet accuracy.
• Use a finger scanner to verify product picks and organize pallets.
• Operate a pallet jack to move pallets within the warehouse.
• Wrap pallets for shipment and perform general housekeeping tasks.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
  Qualifications
  
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Dependable with minimal cell phone use while working.
    Work Schedule
    
    • Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
    • First-day start time: 8:00 AM
      Compensation and Benefits
      
      • Hourly pay: $16.50.
