As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will provide
comprehensive clinical and educational support tailored to the
individual needs of Middle School and High School students, oversee
and conduct educational and clinical training, and evaluate
individual team member performance. In your role as the primary
quality assurance leader, you will ensure adherence to applicable
laws, regulations, and internal standards pertaining to educational
and behavioral services.
--- Responsibilities Include:
Providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to teachers
and educational staff in developing effective functional behavior
assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Monitoring and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of academic
and behavioral services provided to students.
Supporting ChanceLight staff by demonstrating and reinforcing
effective instructional practices to ensure student progression
aligned with individualized education program (IEP) goals.
Assessing professional development needs of educational staff;
researching, developing, and delivering targeted training programs
based on identified requirements.
Participating actively in staff development activities, including
attending conferences, professional training, and seminars to
maintain and enhance core competencies.
Training, certifying, and continually coaching school employees in
implementing and maintaining crisis management systems.
Assisting in recruitment, hiring processes, orientation, and
ongoing training of behavior specialists and other pertinent
staff.
Researching, evaluating, and recommending evidence-based curricula
and instructional resources that comply with educational standards
and departmental requirements.
Developing, implementing, and supervising systems designed to
effectively meet the individualized needs of students, classrooms,
and the entire educational site.
Attending and actively participating in required meetings,
including but not limited to school team meetings,
interdisciplinary meetings, and all-staff sessions.
Conducting regular, systematic quality assurance assessments at the
student, staff, classroom, and site levels and providing detailed
recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensuring consistent compliance with Department of Education
regulations, as well as ChanceLight's internal policies and
standards for educational excellence and behavioral
interventions.
Performing other duties and/or projects as assigned.
