Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Kent, Ohio. This role involves performing high-quality welding operations in various positions to meet our production standards. If you are experienced, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.Location: Kent, OhioShift: 1st Shift (6 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Thursday, plus OT)Pay: Starting at $21/hr, paid weeklyKey Responsibilities:Safe Operation: Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.Welding: Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and operate welding equipment, performing minor repairs as needed.Quality Control: Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure they meet specifications.Document Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.Physical Demands:Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and crawl for extended periods.Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.Work in confined spaces and at heights up to 15 feet.Wear a tight-fitting respirator.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and prints.Measuring Skills: Skilled in using tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.Testing: Must pass a welding test; ability to pass a code certification weld test preferredApply Now:Join us and bring your welding expertise to our team.
