community.SUMMARYThe Stewardship Officer is responsible for the
stewardship plan for the development department, including writing
content for stewardship initiatives such as the annual impact
report, case for support, etc. This position facilitates the
department wide process for CEO briefings and call lists.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following:Orchestrates department wide process for CEO briefings
and call lists. Prepares donor briefings for CEO, CDO and board
members on the Community Engagement and Philanthropy Committee.
Manages requests for CEO/SLT participation in events.Writes
external facing content for development materials including annual
impact report, campaign reports, annual giving summary letters,
case for support, program one pagers for designated funding
opportunities, and general operating proposals. Collaborates with
individual giving (annual fund and major gifts) and institutional
giving to ensure content is appealing across a wide array of donor
audiences.Help individual and institutional team gain synergy with
stewardship strategies that lead to increased giving.Partners with
development operations which is responsible for data for
stewardship mailings. Coordinate stewardship mailings for
department.Works with colleagues to gather information to create a
department-wide stewardship calendar of all mailings, campaigns,
events. Responsible for donor signage and recognition in
partnership with Marketing and Communications team.Maintain
required job knowledge and skills and core professional
competencies. Attend and participate in required educational
programs and take advantage of available professional development
opportunities.Actively support and champion initiatives aimed at
driving continuous improvement throughout the organization. May
participate in one of the following: LEAN council, a kaizen, 5S
campaign or other process improvement efforts to support continuous
improvement and improved processes within the food bank.Performs
other job-related duties as assigned.Supervisory
ResponsibilitiesN/AQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree (B. A.) from
four-year college or university; or a minimum of five years of
experience working in database management. Preferred 3-5 years of
fundraising operations experience and fundraising support.
Proficiency in Windows-based computer software is required. This
position requires strong writing skills, attention to detail,
effective multitasking, organization and project management skills,
an ability to work in a team atmosphere and manage a flexible
schedule. Required commitment to valuing diversity and contributing

or community experience. Willingness to work beyond normal working
hours, when necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTThe
physical requirements for this position include: Ability to
frequently remain in a stationary position. Ability to move about
inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
frequently. Ability to operate a computer or other office
productivity machinery constantly. Occasional ability to
ascend/descend stairs to access work spaces. Occasional ability to
position or move body to access filing cabinets or other work
equipment. Ability to constantly exchange accurate information and
communicate in person or via telephone with clients, partners,
donors, coworkers and other members of the community. Must be able
to constantly view a computer screen. Ability to move office
equipment/supplies occasionally. Ability to lift 10-25 lbs on a
regular basis. Travel is occasionally required for this position.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level
in the work environment is usually quiet.Salary Range: $50,000 -
$60,000 per yearProud to be a North Coast 99 Employer for
