- Job Summary: Nursing position in UTCC/Transitional Care 5N at United Hospital Center.
- Unit: UTCC/TCU with 32 beds and nurse ratios of 1:9-12.
  - Job Requirements
  - WV Cares certification required.
  - Must have a valid West Virginia nursing license.
    - Schedule Information
    - Shifts: 2 (7A and 7P)
    - Weekends: Rotate every other
    - Holidays: Rotate
      - Unit Specific Information
      - Nurse Aides ratio: 1:12
      - Scrub Color: Royal blue
      - Tele: No
      - Vents: No
      - IV Team: Yes, but nurse should try first
      - RT 24/7: Yes
      - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
      - No false nails allowed
      - 12 hr nights, weekends as scheduled
        
        Additional Details
        
        BLS certification required.
        
        50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE.
        
        Unit Orientation: 1-2 shifts
        
        Charge Nurse: Yes-handles all admissions and physician orders
        
        Types of patients: Post-op hips, knees, shoulders, pneumonia, and CHF requiring rehabilitation.
