The caregivers at Euclid Hospital have made it an excellent medical facility and a home away from homeEuclid Hospital's 9th floor Med/Surg and Stroke Unit is designated for patients who have recently suffered from a stroke and provides the highest level of comprehensive stroke care that ensures patients are being treated quickly, leading to improved outcomes and reduced recovery times. As a Registered Nurse, you will become familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support. -A caregiver in this position works 7:00PM - 7:30AM--- - -A caregiver who excels in this role will: - -

• Provide direct nursing care. -
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. - -
    • Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions. - -
      • Administer prescribed medications and treatments. -
        • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. - -
          • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs. -
            • Educate patients and their families. - - -Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - -
              • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. - -
                • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). - -
                  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). -
                    • One-year of current acute care RN experience. Will consider military RN experience. -Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: -
