The main function is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

Job Responsibilities:
--- Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimating models, identify resources and skills required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance against them.
--- Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues.
--- Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions.
--- Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis.
--- Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
--- Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them.
--- Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
--- Manage project closure initiatives, such as client satisfaction survey and closure analysis.
--- Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools and findings for future projects

Skills:

--- Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
--- Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
--- Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
--- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
--- Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.

Education/Experience:
--- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
--- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
--- 3-5 years experience required.

Ability to work remote: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Acceptable time zone(s): EST
Days of the week: Monday-Friday
Working Hours (Flexible): 8am-5pm EST
OT: Yes, once a month on average, subject to change with projects
Travel: No
Intended length of Assignment: One year

Initiatives/Projects: Data migration projects, vendor upgrades, inhouse development work, introducing brand new technology/work station

Team Dynamic: Team size of 12, 10 Project Managers, 2 Project Administrators

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manages projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment. Accountable for meeting project objectives within established timeframes. May be assigned a single project or a portfolio, which require planning, oversight and communication across multiple segments. Typically, project size may reach or exceed $2.5m.
--- Manages and allocates resources and organizes the work. Drafts and submits project budget proposals, and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary. Plans and schedules project timeliness and milestones using appropriate tools.
--- Partners with internal project liaisons to acquire human and material resources, assigns tasks, directs activities, and controls project execution. Motivates and supervises project team members.
--- Tracks and reports progress, analyzes the results based on facts, defines the products of the project, and forecasts future trends in the project. Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.
--- Maintains communications for governing bodies and interested parties. Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
