Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Job Description:

Candidates with Regulatory Compliance experience are needed for an immediate assignment with a Fortune 500 firm.

Responsibilities include:

-Monitor, research, analyze, and interpret federal and state regulations and proposed regulations to determine applicability and risk to both technical and operational aspects for the company and its products and services.

-Consults with various business groups and/or project teams to determine if system and/or business process modifications are required to conform to new or updated regulations.

-Outlines the applicable regulations and assisting with determining how systems should respond given specific scenarios.

-Assists with determining which systems and/or business processes will be impacted and require revision; and review and/or assisting with the development of functional/business requirements to ensure compliance for those revisions.

Requirements:

-Bachelor¿s degree and or equivalent education or experience.

-Entry level ¿ 2 years applicable experience in regulatory compliance-related work.

-Microsoft Office proficient

-Experience with sanctions, OFAC, regulatory and Trade compliance.

-AML regulation experience would be a plus

-Thorough knowledge of banking laws and regulations and understanding of the financial services regulatory and compliance environment.

Candidates on this assignment will be assisting with sanction (OFAC) compliance related to program escalations. The will be taking the work from the research team and complete evaluations based off their research. They will determine based off regulations whether the item can proceed, needs further research etc to determine what to do next; evaluating whether there is a risk or not. They would need to look at and incorporate all factors while utilizing good judgment.

The manager is looking for individuals with sanctions, OFAC, regulatory and Trade compliance. AML regulation experience would be a plus as well. Additionally they should have good communication skills as they will be working within a team environment and may need to speak with others throughout the company during the term of the assignment. They will also need to have good working excel skills.
